At Omega Race Karts, we stand behind the quality of the racing equipment we sell. Our returns policy is designed to be fair and compliant with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Change of Mind Returns

Please choose your racing gear carefully. We do not offer refunds or exchanges if you simply change your mind, find the product cheaper elsewhere, or decide you no longer have a use for the part.

  • Discretionary Exchanges: At our sole discretion, we may offer a store credit or exchange for unopened, unused items in original "track-ready" packaging within 14 days of purchase.

  • Exclusions: We cannot accept "change of mind" returns on:

    • Electrical components (e.g., looms, ECUs, MyChron sensors).

    • Special order items or custom-built chassis.

    • Tyres that have been mounted or used.

2. Faulty or Damaged Items (Consumer Guarantees)

If a product is faulty, unsafe, or does not match the description provided, you are entitled to a remedy under the ACL.

  • Major Failures: If the item has a major defect (e.g., a manufacturing flaw in a chassis), you can choose between a refund or a replacement.

  • Minor Failures: For minor issues, we will repair or replace the item within a reasonable timeframe.

3. The "Racing Use" Limitation

In accordance with the ACL, consumer guarantees do not apply if:

  • The problem was caused by misuse (e.g., track accidents, wall contact, or improper mounting).

  • The part was used in a manner it was not intended for.

  • You were made aware of a specific fault before purchase (e.g., "Clearance" or "Used" parts).

  • The item has reached the end of its reasonable lifespan due to normal racing wear and tear.

4. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please contact the Omega team at [Insert Email] with your order number and photos of the issue.

  • Assessment: We reserve the right to inspect all returned items. Some technical components may need to be sent back to the manufacturer (e.g., IAME, Rotax, OTK) for diagnostic testing before a refund is approved.

  • Shipping Costs: If the item is confirmed as faulty, Omega Race Karts will cover or reimburse the cost of return shipping. For discretionary exchanges, shipping is at the customer's expense.

5. Refund Process

Once approved, refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Note that your bank may take additional time to post the transaction
